Fardin Pardis

Mr. Pardis graduated from the School of Law of Kabul University. He worked for the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law as a Legal Researcher and Project Assistant. In 2012 he worked as Head of Provincial Programs with the Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and the Rule of Law. In 2015, he was working as Senior Project Coordinator and Legal Analyst with the Hamida Baraki Organization for Rule of Law.
In September 2016 Mr. Pardis moved to Toulouse, France, to pursue his Master of International and European Law followed by a Master of International Economic and Business Law. In 2019, he started doctoral research on the rights of third parties to be heard in investor-state arbitration procedures at the Law School of Cologne University. In 2020, he returned to Kabul and joined the Legal Unit of the President as a Legal Expert. In July 2021 he was appointed as Director of Project Analysis and Program Development at the National Procurement Authority of Afghanistan. In August 2021 when the Taliban took over control of Afghanistan, he was forced to flee to Luxembourg and has since helped many Afghans who have been evacuated from Afghanistan. Since January 2022 Mr. Pardis is working as a Legal Consultant at the Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and the Rule of Law.
