Funding Leadership Opportunities for Women Project in Kabul Supported by AWRC and Woman Kind International

PTCRO launched a project to empower women by providing leadership opportunities for advocating women’s rights in Islam and the Constitution of Afghanistan. The initiative targeted 2,500 families across three districts of Kabul—Kalakan, Istalef, and Bagrami. As part of the project, PTCRO focused on raising awareness of women’s rights through regular advocacy efforts and facilitated weekly focus group discussions with Community Development Councils, Shuras, as well as local religious leaders and elders in these districts.
