Mir Sayed Saeedy

Mr. Saeedy is a law school graduate from Kabul University. In 2011 after his graduation, he moved to France to pursue his Master’s, where he obtained two Master’s degrees, first a Master’s in International and European law followed by Master’s in International Economic Law. In 2014 he returned to Afghanistan and joined the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as Legal Manager to work on legal foundations for the establishment of Agricultural Development Bank of Afghanistan ADBA supported by the World Bank. In 2015 he joined the Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and Rule of Law as a legal consultant. Later, in 2016 he joined the Ministry of Commerce and Industries as an Advisor to the Directorate of Legal Affairs and in a very short while he was promoted to an Advisor to the Minister and then as Director of Internal Audit, and, finally as Director-General for International Trade.
